EL PSICODRAMA-Psic. Octavio Huerta Torres
El Psicodrama fue creado y desarrollado, alrededor del año 1936, por el Médico-Psiquiatra rumano-vienés Jacob Levy Moreno (1889-1974). Sin embargo, no fue sino hasta las décadas de los años 50 y 60 cuando se promueve la expansión del Psicodrama a nivel mundial. El Primer Congreso Internacional de Psicodrama tuvo lugar en París en 1964.
Remontándonos a los primeros acercamientos de Moreno en la creación del Psicodrama; conocemos mediante los relatos de sus alumnos[1], que él solía contar historias a niños en los parques, ayudado de su carisma, reunía a cientos de ellos. Poco a poco dio paso a que esos mismos niños representaran estas historias, y al vivirlas, lograba despertar en ellos alegría y creatividad. (Solían sentarse en ronda; de ahí su primera idea de hacer el escenario psicodramático circular). Durante un tiempo, el creador del Psicodrama se dedicó a la práctica y aprendizaje teatral, hasta que en una de sus obras descubrió realmente el poder detrás de la dramatización.
